Filet Mignon is also known as Beef Loin, Tenderloin Steak, Side Muscle Off, Skinned; and Chateaubriand Filet De Boeuf. Filet Mignon is cut from the tenderloin of the cow. This is the most tender steak, lean yet succulent. They are cut at a thickness of 1 inch.
